Coconut Cream Pie Homemade Ice Cream

The next time you’re looking for a sweet treat, try this homemade ice cream recipe with protein powder. Using coconut milk and dried coconut flakes, this frozen dessert tastes just like a classic coconut cream pie—without the carb-filled crust! Made with GNC AMP Wheybolic™, each serving contains an added boost of whey protein.

  • 1 scoop GNC AMP Wheybolic™ Coconut Cream Pie
  • 1 2⁄3 cup coconut milk (1 can)
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup dried coconut flakes
  • Pinch of salt

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Using a wire whisk, beat all ingredients together until well blended. Transfer liquid to the refrigerator and allow to set for approximately 2 hours.

Follow the directions of the ice cream maker to churn. The churn time is approximately 15-20 minutes. Transfer frozen dessert to a bowl and place in the freezer. Allow to freeze at least 2 hours before serving.

Don’t have an ice cream maker? No problem—this low carb, keto-friendly version can be made in your blender.
